Purposes

The purposes and powers of the Corporation shall be those set forth in the Corporation’s Certificate of Incorporation, as from time to time amended, restated, or otherwise modified.

Mission

Creating the conditions that support and enhance the needs, health services, and education and social services for the individuals of Sudanese origin in the New York area, through raising public awareness, capacity building and providing other services to the community members. The community also seeks to facilitate access of vital humanitarian services to individuals and families.

Offices

The principal office of the Corporation is P.O. Box 380982, Brooklyn, New York 11238, in Kings County, New York. The Corporation may maintain additional offices at such other places within or without New York State as the Executive Committee of the Corporation (the “Executive Committee”) may from time to time designate.
